Duncan is a to-do app you talk to. Brain dump whatever's in your head, out loud or typed. He sorts it into simple reminders and notes, then nudges you until they're actually done. No tags. Nothing to keep tidy.

Free while in beta · Help shape Duncan before launch
We'll only email you about the launch. One tap to leave, always.
Voice or a quick note. No fields, no tags, no due dates to fill in.
Your ramble comes back as clean reminders and notes in seconds. Approve and move on.
Gentle reminders on your terms. Quiet hours always win. No guilt, no nagging.
It was never you. It was the upkeep.
It never ends. Fall behind for a week and you come back to a mess you have to clean up before you can get anything done.
That's the whole thing. Ignore him for a week and nothing breaks. He just picks it back up where you left it.
So Duncan does the part every other app leaves to you.
Capture was never the hard part. Every app on earth will hold a note for you and then say nothing. Duncan comes back: a push, a card on your home screen, a nudge that won't be ignored, until the thing is actually done.
No tags, no priorities, no weekly review. There's no system here to keep tidy, so there's nothing to fall behind on. Ignore Duncan for a week and nothing breaks; he picks it back up exactly where you left it.
Reminders arrive as push notifications you can act on right there. Done, or Snooze. Your notes stay one tap away, exactly where you left them. And the widget puts capture one thumb away, so a thought never has to survive the walk to an app.
Voice, notes, widgets, private lock. Duncan meets you where you already are and handles the follow-through, so you don't have to.
Not a list that waits. A push that keeps coming back until the thing is actually done.
Anything with a time gets a date, sorted for you.
Your thoughts, right on the home screen.
Too much to type? Just talk. Capture is instant.
Not everything is a task. The rest becomes a note you can find later.
Some things aren't for anyone else. Keep them behind Face ID.
"I've quit every to-do app I've tried. This is the first one I actually keep opening."
"I talk, it sorts it, it reminds me. That's it. Exactly what my brain needed."
"No setup, no overdue pile. It doesn't make me feel behind."

Built for overloaded brains. One tap to leave, always.
I'm a product designer. Design systems, HMI, and enterprise software by day. I built Duncan because my own brain kept dropping things, and every to-do app I tried just handed me another system to maintain. So Duncan does the opposite: you ramble, he sorts it, and he follows through so you don't have to.
Duncan is made by Macbeth Labs, my one-person studio, the same studio behind Werk, a catalog for watch collectors, live on the App Store now. Every detail gets obsessed over personally; if something feels off, tell me and I'll fix it.
